Bali Blues / Brief Description & Pre-Listening
This exotic “Blues” in G major employs the “Slide” and “Acciaccatura” techniques introduced in “Lesson 8”. The melody of this composition features numerous simple slides, both ascending and descending, supported by a bass line during the initial presentation of the theme. In its reprise, the slides are doubled. A few grace notes are included as well. For a more gradual approach to mastering this piece, studying the exercises in “Lesson 8” is essential.
